iPhone Photog Part 1 - It's April 2012!

Let than 2 months ago I finally got my iPhone4s. I did a lot of research, but what got me was watching my friend use it. It is super easy to use, and it takes great pictures and videos. Sold!Since then I've been trying to prove that you can do photography with any kind of good camera, including a camera phone. There are 3 simple rules that you can use to apply. 1) Lighting. Very important, how good is the lighting, where is the light. You want you subject lit. Think about where you want the light, and the shadows even. With this you will accomplish amazing pictures already.2) Placement. Think of this, every time you take a picture where is your main subject, and how does it work with the rest of the picture. My best friend who also loves photography always says, there is an easy different between someone who takes snap shots and a photographer. Someone who takes snapshots just stands there and takes the picture. A photographer will look around, move around, side to side up and down until they see the best dimensional visual push they can give in a picture. Also, what may help is learning rules of thirds, google it trust me there are about a million explanations and its actually pretty easy to understand.3) Focus. You really want your main subject to be in focus. Sometimes you want everything in focus. Sometimes you just want a certain part of your subject in focus. Either way, something should be in focus. This is what sold me with the iPhone though, you just put your figure where you want the focus to be, and the camera focuses. You can't even do that with high grade cameras! Now, for a few samples of my first attempts at my camera phone photography. These are all without edits. I will come back again later with more, and talk about my favorite apps to use.
